Agastache Black Adder , also known as licorice plant or anise plant , is an ornamental perennial known for its aromatic foliage. Rub the grayish-green leaves between your fingers and they release a delightful scent reminiscent of anise and licorice. This fragrant border plant attracts a wealth of bees, bumblebees, and butterflies, making it a real winner for an insect-friendly garden .

The flower spikes consist of numerous tubular flowers in a deep purple-blue color, which bloom continuously from July until well into late summer. This makes the Black Adder a real eye-catcher in the garden.

Location
